Raven Racing Video started out as just a hobby more than 10 years ago video recording our jet boat races. With a Sony hi8 video tape recorder we began to film our sports jet boat races mostly for sharing with other racers and their families. While at the annual awards banquet marking the end of the race season with the crowning of the U.S Championship Team. A hired DJ began to mix music with the jetboat racing video footage being shown on a large screen television,So  began the idea of making music videos of our sport. With technology making leaps and bounds, especially in video cameras and video editing software programs along with the birth of online video sharing sites like YouTube our sport would be placed on the worldwide web for all to witness.

We jump forward to the year 2007 and the following of every racing event held that year. With spectacular crashes and almost the loss of a navigator during the racing event held in Riggins Idaho, close to 25 hours of racing footage was recorded. The footage was then edited to music from online royalty-free music sites with voice over narration and the first DVD was created from Raven Racing Video. This DVD was sold worldwide and reached almost around the world. The videos were then uploaded onto the online video hosting site YouTube. A lot of viewers had never seen such a sport that involved so many different racing styles combined. The sport was compared to off-road racing, rally racing, and street racing combined.

Since the video world has evolved so has our equipment. We no longer use the Sony hi8 video tape recorder we have upgraded to 3 onboard cameras, 1 handheld camera from Sony, and the Canon XLS-1. Our editing software is from one of the leading software editing companies on the market known as Ulead. Our music is used from 3 different online royalty-free music sites, shockwavesound.com, ibaudio.com, and opuzz.com. Our video clips have been on national television such as Discovery Channel's Destroyed in Seconds, The Nashville Network's Countryfried Home Videos, and an inquiry from A&E. We have since become a YouTube partner and now have to different accounts, Racing16 Channel and the OregonBoysVideo channel. We hope you enjoy are site and are glad you here.
